Gerd Müller

In 1979 he was head of the music publisher “Francis, Day & Hunter” (now “EMI Music Publishing”) in Hamburg. He gave me a chance to record my first solo album “Fantásia”. After the music had been recorded it turned out that record companies had only very little interest in instrumental music. Gerd was stubborn, though, and finally succeeded in landing a contract with “Phonogram”. Later, he moved to Nashville, and I hope he is doing fine there.
